Is the Carbon Fiber Passenger Side Instrument Panel any good?
Is the carbon fiber passenger side instrument panel center trim pad OEM GM Part 84367305 Any good? I hear and saw that the part does not align perfectly on the very top right corner over the air vent flush. Is that because it's produced in China?

Mine is as perfect as the orginal dash panel that came with the car.
The majority of OEM body parts are made in China, South Korea or Mexico, and they are decent. Consider also the forged 1LE and ZL1 wheels, those are from China, too, just like some el cheapo cast or "flow formed" junk wheels. When it comes to quality, it isn't necessarily about the country of origin but the specs, price point and quality control/discipline. I'd be much happier if the car was 100% made in USA for several reasons, but saying "Chinese == crap" is disingenuous, reality is much more nuanced.

I like mine. I just wish it came with a piece for the other side of the infotainment display.

I wouldn't go with a CF panel because of sun glare. I personally would go with alcantara like the ZL1. Also is there any driver side panel that can match the passenger side? Or is there no real space for CF or alcantara on the driver side?

I SWITCHED MY ZL1 ALCANTARA ONE FOR THE GM CF PIECE AND HAVE NEVER LOOKED BACK, NO GLARE WHATSOEVER.
