Don't think they were ever produced by GM. Have never seen them listed in any parts catalog.

Though it does look like carbonaddons makes some carbon fiber covers and there are pictures from customers in the reviews with them installed.

I'm looking at tru fibers version, they are listed as direct replacements so I don't think they are covers? Atleast they better not be for the asking price.

That said image searching for zl1 carbon fiber knee pads or bolsters are stock images from retailer sites, havnt been able to find any customer pics from better/different angles

The carbonaddons don't look too bad and are a bit cheaper. Like I said go to the product page and look at the reviews. You will see tons of photos. Might not be what you want or might work for you.

What's a knee bolster?

The Alcantara pads on either side of the center console, and the ones just under the window switches.

I did a little photochop see attatched.
