Just my 2 cents'.
THIS! I agreed wholeheartedly...the A8 tranny concerns are really overblown. I had the issue at 10K, applied the flush fix and drove another 20K before it cropped up again. Then, a quick TC replacement and, so far, no more issues. If it does come back, I'll just take it back in. No biggie! The A8 is, otherwise, AWESOME!

1 /10 - I would like to pick a lower number, but that's where the bottom of the scale was defined.

- Very unreliable.
- Warranty which provides a low quality class of service and is unable to resolve issues.
- Corporate GM and dealership people who do not care if your car works and how it affects you. They will do to you as they see fit and are not constrained by any sense of ethics.

Such as? I haven't had any issues, but I like to know what to look for and/or prevent if possible.

A blast to drive I'm sure but no cargo space, no trunk and no useable backseat etc etc. I understand all that but would this car be your choice if given the option again? I think I can pick one up for $37-38k. Can you believe I still go back n forth between this and the civic typeR Yes, Apples and Oranges.. Thanks
I can believe that.. if you plan to track it, go with the SS 1LE hands down.

The CTR overheats in most climates (and yes I have personal experience with it). The CTR as a normal usage daily driver is far better than the Camaro 1SS though. Now a 2SS 1LE I'd DD over the CTR.

Also, I have a couple of cars so the limitations of the Camaro bother me a lot less.

The only thing I would have considered doing differently would be getting a ZLE instead

People have different experiences, I have an 18 m6 that I got in August with 10 k miles on it already that's been nothing but a joy and reliable. I'm assuming you have an a8 with tranny issues.... And while there are certain service centers I'm not too fond or going to for maintenance work, there are some that go above and beyond and make you think they care. Can't really paint all dealers of a certain brand that way, as if other brands (American) bend over backwards for their customers. If anything that would go for basically any American or Japanese car dealership service center.

10/10 for me! But I haven't owned a muscle car since my 74 camaro when I was 19. So to jump in a 6 gen camaro, I'm smiling from ear to ear! Could care less about trunk space, console space, or subpar visability . . .If I wanted that I'd buy a high performance sedan. To me the 6 gen 1LE is the best looking Camaro out there, even better than the ZL1's (although I wouldn't turn one down for a good price)! The torque, the handling, and the look of the 1LE are amazing to me 10/10. I will be looking for more hp's . . . but that is something we never stop chasing after!

10/10 - as an added bonus, my SS is the most economical car I have ever owned (when I keep my foot out of it)

Agreed on the 1le looks, somehow those subtle touches enhance it just right.

I would say 7-8

ive had NPP replaced due to rattling, A8 shutter and flush, groaning rear end, and lots of interior squeeks and rattles. Other than that, its fun to drive lol

3030 miles on my 2018 V6 RS. So far so good. Never been on a hwy, never over 60mph. My biggest gripe is the thin paint job. How many pounds would a good paint job add?

9.3 / 10 for me since the overall looks and color, Hyper Blue.

Only 2 Cars Better of the 10 I've owned, a 1985 Lincoln Continental and a 1996 Buick Park Ave Ultra. Way better paint on both. Heck even my 2018 Mustang had better paint.
Come on Chevy!
