does ask for vin, but in my case, I would have to activate onstar in order to get to unenroll. forget that.

Not sure if this has been previously posted, but it looks like a class action is in the works.

Was looking at an XT4 for the Mrs but I found similar stories on Cadillac forums. Unfortunately, it seems to be more widespread.

Times reporters found that Kia, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, and both Honda and its Acura luxury arm all have similar programs.
