A Camaro SS 1LE in France

Hello everybody,

I'm Antoine, I live in France near Paris, just turned 37yo this month, and I made a huge gift to myself...A 2017 Camaro SS 1LE

I had previously a 2012 Toyota GT86, and more recently a Focus RS Mk3. I have a Youtube channel with the same name as my nickname here Antoine FRS (I added English subtitles to most of my videos).

I loved my Focus RS but... since a friend gave me the chance to drive his Corvette C7... I wanted a car with a V8 in it. So after 3 weeks of ownership I do not regret a thing ! It's flexfuel so I can use E85 or Unleaded 98

The car was imported from Canada by another Frenchman, so all the paperwork and homologation BS was already done. Only thing I don't understand, is the absence of rear parking sensors... despite the reverse camera ! (I made another post about it).

I plan to try it on a trackday (like I did with my 2 previous cars) to try getting the best out of it (with my rookie skills).

I will sure have more questions to come and hope to find answers on this forum.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.
