V6 + V2 = V8
V8 + M6 = U2 + ME2

Only math that should matter to U and ME!

Only the tune. There are more complaints on the Mustang side, but I never drove one, so we'd need to ask someone who did both. (Note that there are three versions with the Camaro, the 10L90 that goes into the ZL1, the lower torque spec 10L80 that goes into the SS, and the "entry level" 10L60 that is in the V6.)

Exactly. I wouldn't want a manual as a daily, especially as I have gotten older. However, I prefer a manual for a weekend car.

All depends what you really want but me personally had enough of the manual trans a long time ago. And the A10 is a fantastic trans for what most people expect out of it.

One,I’m old and getting lazy, and two, my time on the Dragon was better in sport mode when the car was handling the shifts than when I was using the paddles (that they weren’t always in the right spot is another story). I’m moving up from a V6 A6 to a SS V8 A10.

I like drag racing. I need consistency. Also want a higher stall. The 10spd auto is faster than the manual, very efficient and actually trap speed higher than the manual. How many times could we say that about an auto vs manual since existence of the auto transmission? Never to my knowledge. A10 FTW all day long

I'm 68, have a metal hip and would never have considered buying the Camaro if I couldn't have the manual. While I was waiting for it I would dream of rowing through the gears. The reality, after a year and and a half, is still better than the dreams.

You old guys are great. I'm only 61 and would only have a manual in my Camaro.

Thumbs up

Nothing compares to the driver's involvement of manually shifting your strong V8
