Can’t drive car at All after Trifecta Tune

I don’t know if they gave me an 8 speed tune or what but now my car won’t shift at all and I have a massive list of error codes. Was fine running the stock tune with the parts I put on Headers and CAI but as soon as I put that tune on there everything went to shit and I have no way of reversing it. They tuned my Cruze for me and did a really good job I’ve never had this happen with any tune I’ve ever used. Really really pissed this happened on a weekend really hoping they respond to my email before Monday

Odd they didn't test drive it before giving it back to you.

I’m pretty certain he is talking about a remote tune that he loads himself.. Thus his need to get them on the phone on Monday..

OP - good luck. I’m sure you are frustrated.

Doesn't Trifecta back up the stock tune and allow you to revert to it using the same device? Are you saying your car is essentially bricked as you can't load the stock tune back?

I can get the stock calibration but I’m thinking they gave me a Manual tune by mistake so there’s really nothing I can do. I can start the car and drive it but the car doesn’t shift. All the error codes are Transmission,ABS,ECU related so it has nothing to do with the headers or CAI I installed which were working fine before the tune.

Aha, I see. It's very likely some obvious mistake, a tune for a different trans or model. Hopefully they stand behind their product and will take care of you soon

If you didn't have the trans unlocked they can't tune the trans. It won't even show up as tunable until it is unlocked. Did you try shifting it manually?

Can you flash the stock tune back on it?

I can but the tune itself must be for a different car so the stock tune is for whatever car the actual tune is.

All tunes are determined by the VIN number. In other words they can't load a tune with another Vin into your car. They can copy pages from another tune and paste them in your tune, but HP tuners does not allow them to use another cars tune in your car.
