As much as the OEM muffler is ugly, it works and with the car on the ground, you don't see it. So I vote for leaving well enough alone.

This.

After having the AWE Touring I would probably just leave it stock muffler. If you are after bigger tips, just get the bigger 4" tips. The OEM sounds great as-is.

I have a 2023 ZL1 with Borla Atak axle back and wish I had gotten Borla S-Type. The atak is great at full throttle but the other 90% is doesn't sound as good as the S-Type I had I my 2021 LT-1. It seems too raspy at less throttle than my S-Type.

Personally I went with a muffler delete and for $185 I don't think any exhaust system can touch it.

If I ever do an axle back it will most definitely be the Corsa NPP.

this right here however,
if you must I would go with the AWE Touring.
Sweet tone during WOT and stock, stealth quiet when cruising.

Better than the NPP ?

The AWE touring I had on the 1LE got plenty of nice comments. I would not buy their chrome tips though as the plating started to flake and peel on me after about a year. I would only use a polished stainless type tip as powder coat, or some other coating, by my experience don't last either.

My ZL1 has an MBRP on it with 304 carboin fiber tipes and it's a muffler delete save for a resonator to tame the drone. I really like it and it's the most economical way to go louder and change the tone.

The stock suitcase is nice with NPP but its always been too tame for my tastes.

I love my Borla ATAK cat back, secondary deletes, and NPP:

Sounds amazing at all speeds and zero drone.

Axle back won't sound exactly like this but close.

Here is a YouTube short cruising clip... It's a short that I have marked as unlisted and posted so it can display in-line in this forum versus "shorts" which do not for whatever reason...

I don't know who Axel is, but he must be getting tired of walking around with all these exhaust systems on his back!

Sorry, I couldn't help it. Tip your waiters, and I'm here all week. BTW, the word you're all looking for is "Axle."

"Kat" back has no issues flexing those exhausts.
