Thinking about it, since that piece of the console is removable there is a possibility of 3D printing a custom rear cover that’s larger in size.

I don’t know enough of 3D printing nor do I have a printer but I feel like a little scan with say the TrueDepth camera system on newer iPhones a 3D file could be made and adjustment in the width to compensate bigger phone sizes…..

I remember that the portion that goes under the rear seat helps hold down the trim but I don’t think it would go under great stress.

It’s either that or cutting the original holder to have a useful wireless charger imo. In the latter it’s just a reduced storage space compared to the 1LT/1SS like you bought.

Edit: or the other way around that maybe to take apart the existing wireless charging section and 3D print a higher mounting point. This would leave the chance of skidding around but it would use the OEM piece with just a mounting change for the charger pad

My 13 pro fits with the case I use. Granted I had to cut the side wings of the plastic plate the phone sits in in order for it to fit. But it fits now.

Does an iPhone pro fit in the 2ss/3lt wireless charger?

Yes it would. Unless you flipped your car. I sanded my suede brush to fit perfectly and it stayed in there while doing donuts.

I may try this. Why pay 2SS/ZL1 money and can’t use all of the features lol.

Exactly my thinking, though I don’t like the idea of cutting apart the plastic piece

I have no clue on the 3D printing scene but I may give it a good old college effort

Just like Camby's, mine stays put as well. Phone is in a rubber case, and I can do anything, it does not move around on the charging pad at all. The mat on top of the wireless charging module is made from sticky rubber, which helps a lot.

Guess you mean the rubber pad, Fran; it's part number 23285289, costs a whopping $6.30 at gmpartsdirect. Here's mine, I lopped off the short edges and now every cell phone in the house fits.

That's is thanks. I am going to buy one to cut and have the original uncut. I am silly like that

I was about to do the same thing but with the ridiculous shipping I’ll wait till I have more to order.
