The drive mode selector does not alter the suspension properties of the 1LE, but all my runs so far have been in Sport, but it feels faster day-to-day in Track.

Sport mode for sure on my Lt1 trim car. I noticed lazy 1-2 shift under wot in touring. Sport mode quickened the shift up and almost a tenth quicker in 1/4

Maximum power with no computer interference is only available in Track mode. Once in Track Mode, PTM Race is probably the fastest. We are discussing this on another thread. It's also spelled out in your Owner's Manual.

It's detailed here https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=496996

I don't think this is correct. If you hold the TC button for 5 seconds, you can enter the "fully off" mode. All other modes, including PTM Race, cut power to affect stability and turns.

When in Track, if I hold it down until the two icons show up, all nannies are off. The subject article says, "...PTM RACE: This one is pretty self-explanatory, it’s as fast as we know how to make the car go... straight."

I don't think there's a measurable difference. I only focus on going straight.

What is there, PTM wet, dry, 1, 2 and race? Even in race, my time around an autoX course is about 1-2 seconds slower. That's an eternity and the difference between placing in the top 3 and being at the very bottom. The only way that's happening is it's not giving me enough power and/or braking.

Hold TC off for 10 seconds turns everything off.
Double Tap TC Off = Stabilitrak still on. (Keeps the car going straight if the rear tires break loose on a straight a way.)

Ironically my fastest time in a 1/4 mile is with stabilitrak on (Double TAP TC Off)

Fran knows what he is talking about. Ice part means you'll have ice on your wrists after winning.

When I bump into track (from sport) at 35-40mph it seems to drop a gear (or maybe unlocks the converter?) so I think there is some effect on transmission shift logic, but I’ve never seen the info on differences between modes regarding the A10.

I believe it. My five runs were all in sport with nannies off. Haven't made any hits in track but I will the next time with TC off and stability track on.
