Illuminated Bow tie 2020+ where is the DTR Lights plug?
I read that on the 20+ the illuminated bow tie gets plugged into the DTR lights instead of the Headlights. But where on earth are the Day time running light plugs? I’ve heard they are attached to the frame in the front but that’s about it.
Having a 20+ sucks with installation since most people have 16-18 and there’s no videos to go off of. |

no sir. mine plugged into my passenger side marker light. i’ve done both 16-18 and 20-24 front end glow ties and honestly the 20-24 is by far easier IMO.

To find the DRL plugs on your 2020+ Chevy, you can follow the wires from the DRL light towards the frame behind the grille.

As Tone2 S S said, the GM Illuminated bowtie plugs into the passenger side marker light so its only on when its dark enough to run lights, its not bright enough to be seen in daylight hence why only when its dark out.
There are supposedly aftermarket ones that are brighter so may plug into the DTRL's but then I'd question how they ran at night (do the DTRL's run in the dark as well?). Rather I'd think they would plug into the accessories somehow to keep it on whenever the car was on.
