Not all of them. C5 Z06's came with "normal" tires and a pump & fix-a-flat goop.

Try that on I10 in West Texas and see how long you wait. And if you have a non-repairable flat and need a tire, settle in to that Bates motel and get comfortable. You're gonna be there a while.

My car sticker said it had air pump & sealant, but when I looked, there was a tire & tools in trunk. Good dealership!

There are a few spare tire kits on ebay right now. If you want to shell out over $400 bucks for a space saver spare and a flimsy jack!

For that price I could pay someone to carry me to the next town if I get a flat.

I used the tire sealant and the tire shop had no issues cleaning and patching my tire.

Had a flat on the road

Called OnStar. Had a guy with a flatbed to me in about 1/2 hour. Took it to a tire shop who fixed the flat and that was that. Not good, but not too bad.
HOWEVER, every time I go on a road trip I worry a little bit about it.
Maybe a dumb question but I'll ask anyway, don't you need two spares, front and rear?
Also, we are in good company. Look at most of the exotics, or even Porches. None of them have spares.
BTW. my flat was on the Richmond/San Rafael, bridge, no place to pull over. Had to drive about a mile on the bridge watching the tire pressure indicator show less and less pressure. First pull off was for San Quentin prison, so that's where I was.

Nope. Even though the 20 inch front and rear tires and wheels are two different sizes, they are the same diameter. A stock front rim will fit on the rear axle with no problems. Most use the front rim for a full sized spare because it's a little smaller and lighter than the rear stock rim.

What about my 1LE

So if I buy the standard stamped steel metal rim, with the full size tire I can then put it on the front or back of my 1LE and it will fit in the spare tire well?

If not then what do I need?
