Nitrous setup

This may be a dumb question as I'm new to sports cars so I apologize. I'm making plans to put my car in the shop for a few engine mods. Along with the mods I'm thinking about a small nitrous shot. My question is if the timing is adjusted and install cooler plugs for the nitrous will it effect my daily driving?

You can use the Lingenfelter LNC-2000 to only pull timing out when youre on the bottle. Otherwise the car would drive on the normal amount of timing. With cooler plugs you may be down a small amount of power when on motor.

Which plugs would you suggest Brandon for Blown/Nitrous cars that drive on the street and strip? Around 100/150 shot?

I was told and read that i need to run a cooler plug with a nitrous setup. I may wait until the majority of the motor work is done before i start playing with the bottle

I'm wondering that since my car is also a street car that i would need to run a hotter plug while on the street then change out to a colder one before sending it down the track with the spray. Anybody have any info on this?

I drive with 6 degrees pulled and ngk br7 plugs. It has a small loss in power. Also instead of spending so much on a timing controller you can wire a resistor into you iat sensor and put it on a switch and when you flip the switch the iat thinks its like 300 degrees intake temp and in the tuning table for iat pull your timing at 295 degrees iat. It's simple and cheap. I have the resistor but haven't got it in yet. My cars in pieces in my shop right now. Stay away from tr6 plugs your asking for trouble with them. Pull timing, turn off traction control, get a wide open throttle switch, and spray and enjoy

I leave the 2 steps colder plugs in, .035 gap. BR7EF. Really can't tell any difference.

What heads/compression/boost level?

And when I said small amount of power earlier I meant like 5-10. 10 being the highest really.

I'm running BR7s on my blower/meth car with a 100 shot on top. You have to know that on a blower car you'll make a bit more power than NA with a 100shot. I'm 740whp on boost and 900whp on 100shot stock bottom end. I have the Nitrous Outlet plate kit and dedicated fuel system with VP109 arming with the switch.
