C6 ZR1 CCW's on a ZL1?

Just had a buddy with a C6 ZR1 post he might be selling his CCW's off his car (he drag races). I have found the limits of the ZL'1 brakes and need an upgrade. My question is will the C6ZR1's CCW's work and our 5th gen ZL1's?

You're talking about the Carbon Ceramic brakes?

No idea if they would bolt on or not, however I doubt it'll be worth it.

Yes the carbon ceramics. Why do you think they would not be worth it?

2014-15 Z/28 Carbon Ceramic Brakes:
Rotor diameter (in / mm):
front: 15.5 / 394 x 36mm wide
rear: 15 / 390 x 32mm wide

2009-13 C6 ZR! Carbon Ceramic Brake:
Rotor diameter (in / mm):
front: 15.5 / 394
rear: 15 / 380

Rear rotors are a different size. Hats may have different specs beween Camaro and Corvette. Calipers may be different as far as mounting tabs and bolt specs.

What year ZR1? How many miles on the brakes? Mass of the rotors compared to minimum mass?

May be better trying to go with Z/28 CCBs. Believe the front is direct bolt on but not sure if any difference to the rear knuckles from ZL1 to Z/28 as they appear to have different part numbers.

Hope this helps.

Yes it does. Thank you. The more I look into it I don't think they are going to work. Oh well
