Convertible top question

Hi guys my top broke yesterday and I would like to fix it myself.
The plastic lever broke that pushes away the plastic trim cover.
I know the part #84237014 but that one comes with the metal brackets and I only need the plastic L shaped lever.
Does any one know if I can buy that separately ?
Thank you bc I can imagine the other side will brake soon too.

I don’t think there is a part number for the plastic piece by itself. Obviously you can just install the plastic piece from the kit without replacing the metal arms.

I had a professional shop fix my top when the plastic piece “broke” (Beaverton Auto Upholstery in Oregon). They replaced a few of the metal parts also because they were bent and could not be straightened.

I would just caution you to ensure that the metal levers and other parts are properly aligned on both sides and undamaged.

Good luck Johnny!
