No.

More complicated overpriced garbage isn't needed.

Ultimate performance potential, I guess. But having more adjustability is as likely to make people worry more about which behavior to call up than be any good at driving the car once they pick something.

It helps when traction is an issue, but once it isn't, then there isn't any advantage.

Given that Camaro is moving away from just being a straight-line wonder, I think RWD makes more sense.

A lot of supercars are doing AWD more for insurance and safety reasons than performance. Just throwing this out there.

Why did this thread turn into vs. arguments? Both existing doesn't preclude the other. Added sales is a really good idea about now.

As long as it kept rear wheel bias I would think it would be ok

I haven't seen anyone suggest otherwise in this thread. The EV idea is closest to a scrapping of high-end RWD.

Dunno . . . I'm pretty sure I want more than just that. I'd much rather have to work a little more at getting whatever performance the car could give me than simply matting the rightmost pedal and letting the car do what it was programmed (by somebody else) to do.

Big low-end torque - rpms where I wouldn't even be thinking about performance driving - doesn't mean nearly as much as torque once underway. Compared to the Camaro's torque curve, the Tesla's doesn't look very satisfying to work with if you like doing your own driving.
