Service Tire Monitor System
Recently purchased a 2010 Camaro, two days after the purchase, the Service Tire Monitor System error popped up. I went thru the manual reset process and the error goes away for two days but then it comes back up. The issue pertains to the front driver side wheel, which I have now replaced the sensor on it twice and the same issue keeps happening. Can this be a computer issue? Any suggestions on what to try next?
Thanks in advance. |

Do you have any of the replaced/old sensors in your Camaro? If you do, the car is trying to read all of them. This happened to me after replacing one of my sensors. I had the old one in the glove box. If you do, throw it away.
Also, I bought an aftermarket sensor (to save money) and the car could not read it. I replaced that with an OEM sensor and it worked fine. |

Mine does it too, front left, all the time. Usually after many miles of driving when the
wheels heat up. Then the rear left, then both. Now, just the right rear.. If I remove the aftermarket intake, it all goes back to normal, figure that one out... I put the intake back on two weeks ago, and TPMS is acting up again. |

No big deal just hit the button on the end of the stock to clear the dic.
Check your pressures with a gauge once a month like the old days
