It's funny how we decide what we need or don't need. Some might say we don't need NPP.

For me, I figured the money I'm not spending an auto transmission and navigation offsets the price and justifies it. Of course, that's just something I tell myself, because I'd buy it even if my total cost was 5k more :P

edit: Don't tell GM that, they might get some bright ideas...

This video, albeit 6 years old, sold me on MRC when it was announced on the 5th gen. Since then, and seeing this video, I've been waiting until I was ready to get a new car so I could add it.

Not getting it. I know it's great but I also am very confident the car will be super enjoyable without it. I expect the SS ride to be firm but I don't expect it to be harsh either. ill never track the car. To me it's extra cost I didn't need to be spending.

I don't really see the point if your not taking it to the track. I'm not getting it.

It's not a "track thing" per se. It's also a comfort thing, too.

I'm definitely getting it, no matter which car I end up in Gen 6 or C7.

I'm getting it without a doubt. That's at the top of the list of things I want in my 2SS.

Magnetic ride came on our 2012 ZL1 and I love it. Not just because I occasionally track the car but it is a much smoother, softer ride on long trips. I personally would not order a car without it. I ordered it on our 2015 Z51 Corvette where the difference is much more pronounced between each mode. There is a reason why it is on all Ferrari's and even Ford is making it available on their new GT-350. I am very happy that Chevy made it a stand alone option on the Camaro and Corvette. In my opinion, it is worth every penny.

I am not getting it.
I want it, don't get me wrong. I've driven a Z06 and its perfect stiff on track and smooth as can be over bumpy roads, much better than my SS with Eibachs and stock shocks.
There are several reasons I won't order it:
1) I'm already at 45K with 2SS and NPP and a few other things,
2) I have heard that they had issues with the systems on Vettes and those are expensive to repair after warranty is over
3) It adds weight and the 2SS already has to many fattening options included LOL

Just my 2 cents

Yep, definitely not just a track thing. Gm is even putting MRC on Tahoes.

Though I would like to see a Tahoe around the track...

You are right it is not just the track thing, but the SS stock dampers never got to be enough stuff on track and enough smooth as can be over bumpy roads, like MRC

Yeah most have said, its not a track thing. The stock suspension is going to be on the rough side. The MRC will allow you to drive in comfort 99 percent of the time.

Have you guys ever drove a car with it? If you haven't, i suggest you go ahead and do that. It literally changes the car with the push of a button.

Like many have said, its not a track thing as they're putting them in the big SUV's due to the comfort of it.

Comfort, It's interesting how many people seem to be getting MRC for comfort maybe even more then track need. I guess I have had my Acura to long and just want the full on experience of a sports cars stiff ride, I'm also at a price point I don't want to cross from low 40k range into the mid 40K range.
