400 I'm not too worried about. Vince can tune it up to a point. However, I'm not sure it can handle the TQ you would be throwing at it with say 10-12 psi. Even if the TM system can accomodate it at low RPM it will do it at the expense of the launch I would think. I'd rather build the tranny and throw the power at it . Just my idea for my car -- others may have other opinons.
checked on the way home... hitting about 1740 PSI at WOT...

I've seen around 1700 from other places, too. I think that falls pretty low for DI (again, like the MS3). I think the BMWs are around 2500 with pulsed injection. It seems to me the lower pressure would lead to some potential heat problems (slower vaporization) and may. along with very high compression, explain why we have richer AFR from the factory? Just thinking out load...

Anyway, there are a lot of interesting things the V6 crowd will have to tackle if we want to go FI. It is going to be a fun ride

Thanks SC2150, you tha man! At that price it is definately worth it. I only worried about the rods because I've seen some folks post here and on other forums about problems they've had even before boosting. As always, you expect a few problems when mass producting cars, so I'll take your word they don't have to necessarily be forged.

Our V6 engines have sinter forged steel connecting rods, it is the same engine as the CTS.
