found during ppf install
[IMG][/IMG]
The car was delivered on December 7th. I only put about 20 miles on it in the process of getting winter appropriate tires and driving it to work once. Dropped it off to the ppf installers last week and they got started on it yesterday. They just sent me the following picture. Diagnosis is the dealer ****ed up and there or scratches underneath the corner piece of the spoiler. The icing on the cake and the real problem (because the scratches could be corrected out) was it was not put back on with double-sided tape, they used JB WELD !!!! That's going to be extremely difficult to remove from the car. How can I address this the dealer is in Texas and I figure the first thing they're going to say is **** you we didn't do it prove it. I will name and shame Graff Chevrolet, Grand Prairie Tx |

I'd say somethign to prevent the next guy from having that done to his car. Of note my R winglet departed my 1LE and I couldn't get a replacement, it was just double-sided tape though that cleaned up easily.

i Have had three gen 6 SS1LE's and installed the spoiler caps myself on all of them. Only used the double sided tape, not adhesive. The kit comes in a box and includes a piece of foam to correctly gap the winglets to the trunk mounted center spolier, i'm very particular about that gap and didn't want to trust the tech doing PDI to leave a gap so wide you could drive a bus through it.
