I just dropped mine off yesterday for this same issue, worked one day and then just stopped; would not charge and could not use CarPlay. Fortunately, if you want music from your phone you can still use via Bluetooth. As we all hear when we have a problem, the service department has never heard of this issue. I'll keep you posted of what they find.

My usb stopped working also after enjoying the link to my phone Google maps and WAZE app that tells me when a cop has was spotted.
Went to my phone setting and found out my usb tethering was grayed out after my last update reset after you tube vid, and update from Android Auto app works now Its works perfect it I plug my phone in first before I start the engine, don't know why it just does. (I have a LG V20 phone} |

Thanks Glen e. USB ports were not working and not connecting to Apple Play. Reset via the rear trunk battery by disconnecting the negative terminal for 30 minutes. voila! Works again. Also, 10mm socket info help save time for me since I don’t have the mechanic’s eye to know the size looking at it.
