BMR Drag Race Suspension

I am about to replace my Carlyle kit minus the small brake kit with the BMR drag race kit. I was wondering if anyone has some suggestions on the Strage Coilover settings to start out, car is mostly street and about 5-6 drag races throughout the summer. I know some people are top secret when it comes to suspension load and settings, but any insight would help! I'm coming from QA1 coil shock on a medium setting, thanks!

If you dont mind me asking, why are you switching from the Carlyle to the BMR conversion? I have been looking at both.

I can't get the carlyle kit to lower as much as id like, also the carlyle lca's are designed to be used with factory struts and I blew out a qa1 coil strut because of that. I got a nice deal on the bmr kit so I pulled the trigger, I just wanted more adjustment on rebound and height with the strange coilovers. Nothing wrong with the carlyle kit(which by the way bmr bought them out) but you are limited to ride height with stock strut/lowering springs is all.

Gotcha and thanks for that info. How low were you trying to go? Im at 1" lowering spring now which is fine for me.

You bet, I’d like to be right around that 1” lower than stock. The qa1 and 1” lowering spring my ride height was around stock with the Carlyle lca’s.

I just installed the BMR drag pack with strange coilovers. They suggested "Compression 6 clicks rebound 4 clicks from softest setting" as a starting point with a drag radial on the track.

Thanks, that's is where I started. Find out in a few week and dial it in at the track.
