Clutch sticking issue FIXED!

I know there are already discussions for this, but since I just got it done today, might as well share it with yall.

So, got my clutch pedal assembly changed under warranty today, and the pedal feels much better, more liner and smoother than before. But it does get heavier due to the beefier return spring and an extra vertical spring. The original assembly had a very weak return spring, when fluid got hot after intense driving, the pedal would stick half way doesn't come back up. It was annoying that have to pull it up with my feet.

Now if you have this issue(Or don't have it YET) just go to a dealer and get it replaced before warranty is done. And this applies to all 2010-2015s.

Do you have a TSB or recall notice number for this? Or was this just a nice dealership you were working with. The fact that you are talking about a beefier return spring has me thinking this is a TSB or recall for a newer part or set of parts, but I haven't heard about that anywhere.

It is a TSB. The dealer was nice enough to find it. I will post the sheet he gave me when I get off work, there are parts numbers and stuff on there. I think it is the ZL1 clutch assembly they replaced with.

If it's a TSB it shouldn't matter if it's under warranty correct would it even fall under the 6 yr 100k power train or what ever it is???

Oh hell no ! I'm getting this taken care of. I've tried to explain this to the dealership for over a year and they keep telling me that it's fine.

Print this and take it with ya. The first dealership told me the same, but I said BS then went to this one.

Yep. Had mine done. It was not returning all the way up sometimes. They replace with the ZL1 assembly as a fix and it feels way better!

I think it depends on the dealership you are working with.
