Are all 8 cylinders looking like this? While 87 octane is not optimal, it's shouldn't cause this. I believe something else is going on.
Bad primary 02 sensors? Bad MAF? Bad MAP? Is fuel pressure in spec? Get a good scanner on it to log some data and see where the misbehavior is coming from.

I thought this too, but he says his LTFT's are good. If they're within 3% or so it shouldnt cause this, but then again oil consumption I would think would look wet unless it was just a small amount coking on the plugs.

One cylinder is @ 116 psi? If it is thats way too low and probably has piston-ring land damage.

Yes, all 8 cylinders looking like this. Fuel pressure 57 psi on idle. As i know on high rpm it should be less. I have the second reserve MAF - Delphi AF10142, can try it but it seems that engine runs more rough with this MAF |

Does your oil smell like fuel?

Maybe I missed it, but is your mod list for this car? Might shine some light on the topics.

I was told to check the resistance of Cooling Temp Sensor and check that it's value corresponds to the correct temperature...
I've replaced my coolant sensor before this winter because I accidentally broke my old one. But I installed the original one ACDELCO 2134514...... (almost original except for GM 2134333) I found this table and going to check this at weekends. Also I have a little bit air in the cooling system, I can hear it in the mornings |
