As of October 15, 2013, the status of Order Number RHHQFK is the following:

This vehicle has been produced and assigned Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) 1G1YG2D71E5104081. Please be aware that we have shipped a number of Corvettes to the national rail head in Nashville, TN, for a final quality review of each car prior to being shipped to dealers. This final review is part of our standard procedures for a launch.

As we indicated in the press release, we have built nearly 1000 Stingrays, and we are using facilities in Nashville to expedite the process. Once the review for each vehicle is completed, the vehicle will be shipped directly from Nashville to the dealer. We do not have an estimate we can share on the amount of time a particular vehicle will spend in Nashville.

Please understand our number one priority is to deliver the greatest, highest quality Corvette Stingray -- to every dealer, to every customer, every time.

We appreciate your patience and recognize the high amount of anticipation for the 2014 Corvette Stingray.

Thank you for contacting Chevrolet!

Sincerely,

The Chevrolet Marketing Team

Hey Becky, Got this yesterday.
Does this mean that my car is going to be delayed? in Nashville, TN?

Not sure what my official status is. RHHQFK

My order was placed on 9/19/13, so I think I am doing pretty good

Thank you!
I show it bayed 4B00. It may be in Nashville already, or headed
there soon. I can't really tell unless the status changes. I do
know that once it gets to 4200 for a few days, it's on it's way
to the dealer

I really don't have a gage for the timing
from here. There are probably quite a
few though that will have some thoughts
I just haven't taken the time to watch any
that closely.

Thanks Becky! You are so wonderful for taking time to help us! I'll try to patiently wait while 'bayed'. I've got a week and a half till my planned flight up to drive it home.

Hi Becky. Any new news on mine. Been at 3000 for over 3 weeks. Is that normal? Is something holding it up?

I was 3000 on 9-28.
I was 3300 on 10-3.
I was 3400 on 10-7
Checking about every day since then.
I was built 10-15
Keep in mind that weekends/holidays don't count.
4b00 'Bayed' seems to be the black hole recently.
That being said, I'd expect for you to move quickly to 3400, and sit waiting to be queued on the line for a week.
But you never know!

FYI- Trust Becky, she's far more knowledgeable than any 'official' communication from Chevy...

Hi Becky. Would you please check on RFQWMG. It's a convertible so I'm not expecting too much at this time....hopeful but cautious. Thanks! MIITOI

The post earlier from someone that got a form letter from chevy that referenced that some cars are going to QC in Nashville. I thought that process was over! I don't put much faith in any form letter from Chevy...

You've got me worried now that my plane flight next Friday may be wishful thinking. I was hoping to be like areeves1967 and occar that went from 3300 to delivered in 11 days (work days) It just seems that 'baying' seems to have increased again.

I would say that I'd be happy to stop by the plant on the way back from NJ with mine and check on yours, but I think I've already brought on some bad Karma.

Do get a check Thursday from Becky!

Your 3300 to 3400 progression was quite quick! I have been sitting at 3300 since 10/7 awaiting its TPW... hopefully there's progress to 3400 soon.

But you know with these Z51 orders, hit or miss... so dynamic and volatile due to the supplier delays & constraints.

stingray - I could have been 3300 on the 30th, which would have been 5 days there. Don't worry too much about no TPW, as I don't there have been many with TPW's, they've gone straight to 3400.

If it keeps with the recent progression, I'd expect 3400 about now, and 3800 around that time next week. I'm also new to this though, plus not very good at math!
