Sounds like you may know something most here don't about pricing. Mind sharing?

That's really not bad, lets see if it can post times like the ZL1. I just paid 51k for my ZL1, so right around the same as a new SS.

The BIG question is will dealers mark up the new SS, according to my dealer there going to mark them up 2-3k...
If the rumored ring times are any indication.

Current 2015 2SS with the 1LE package at $3500 is pushing $44/$45/$46 grand range pending which additional option boxes are checked. Given the additional items that are now standard, not seeing the new pricing as too far out of line.

If it has been awhile since anyone has looked at any new car msrp on the lots, they have increased alot in 5 years. Crew cab 4wd half ton trucks loaded up are hitting upper $50's & into the 60 grand range msrp. Not a fan of it, but it is what it is.

Everyone says "you gotta pay to play". Well the marques that you have to pay also return some favors to you the customer.

If GM is going to play with the big boys they need to step their game up too!

How about a dedicated sales/service staff for only Camaro and Corvette? People who know exactly what those cars are about, service ONLY those cars, and give preferential treatment to customers for service who own those cars would be a nice incentive for the premium we have to pay. Why should I wait in the same line for the same tech who just finish a job on a Sonic or Malibu? I paid $43k for my Camaro. It's not just another Chevy. That tin can should have to wait.
Premium? You're not there yet. You can still build a lowly silverado for more than these 6th gens. Once the Z's come out then I'll consider jumping on your premium bandwagon. Or do you mean premium over the mustang?

I spoke to one dealer that said MSRP is about 5-6% over invoice. Does that sound about right?

Hey Becky,

Do you have the pricing for the 5 split spoke black wheels?

56F is the code I think.

Ding ding ding!! Get this person a cookie. Seriously though, I was about to post the same thing. Critics said the 1LE is what the SS should of always been. Based off the performance claims, I think GM listened. And the price reflects that.

The pricing is not that bad. These are MSRP prices. there will be a ton of wiggle room on these prices. Unless you plan to try and order asap and be one of the first few people with it. If you're smart and can play your cards right you can get whichever trim level you want for the right price.

Dependent on the rim prices I am off so far by $20 on my guess for pricing.

Yes, at $40k you ARE there. If they are inflating the prices like this, treat us as premium customers.

Those loaded Silverados with $50k stickers don't leave the lot for more than $35k with all the discounts they run on them.

If I can't get the same discounts on a 2SS you better damn well believe I deserve to be treated like a BMW owner.
