Ferrari sells 7000 builds a year world wide, and up to 4000 in North America. Imagine the profit margin needed to sustain a dealership expected to deliver less than a dozen new car sales a month. Remember, Ferrari did not take away the Cauley Ferrari franchise, Chevrolet took away the Cauley Chevy franchise.

At an average $200,000 transaction price I am quite sure there is more than sufficient profit margin to sell 7-9 cars/month and pay the bills and staff quite handsomely.

It is easy to be quite sure when another has to pay the piper.

Think about it, even if your transaction average is correct and say a 10% profit margin is intact, you are contending that $180,000 a month is enough to sustain a sales facility appropriately staffed and a service center to meet the needs of a few hundred consumers.

I now join the contingent urging you to go BMW because it seems clear nothing Chevrolet can do will meet or exceed your expectations.

Honestly the price isn't that much more. I paid 30K for a 1LT with RS package in 2013. The 2016 2LT comes with more and your options line up with current 5the Gen pricing.

Your expectations are unrealistic.
I love the fifth gen...but I hated the tail lights of the 2015 model... and the interior was too simple too... I am just going to wait for a couple of months before I step into the showroom...

Do you know how much discount an employee would get there... A friends dad works in GM and he said he can help with the discounts... but I am not sure how much given that he is not buying it for himself...

Someone posted the prices. I think it is a $2K savings.

My favorite of all time was the1974 Saab Sonnet III I snagged back in '75. I still have the Window Sticker and the Sales Brochure. For those who do not know, it was a 1900lb 2 seat fiberglass hatchback powered by a 1.7 litre 65HP/85Tq V4 with 4 on the floor tran, fourth gear being a.85 overdrive, that was 13 feet long, 5 feet wide and 47 inches tall.

So, whether I would hate a BMW or not I will not even consider going Audi.

See, that's part of the attitude that got GM to within hours of going out of business permanently. You should be ENCOURAGING people like me to buy GM!

I WANT THE CAMARO. I do NOT want to be treated like someone buying a Sonic because I'm spending 40 large, not getting a $99.00/month lease for a tin can with a Hoover engine.

Capisce paizon?
