need help from a corvette 2014 owner (regarding clear side marker fitment)

Hi. We operate a resin casting studio and produce clear lenses for many cars.
I'm not trying to sell anything, so i hope this post is according to forum rules.

The new 2014 corvette side markers have some embedded LEDs in the side markers.
We have started to work on clear replacement for the side markers but need someone to verify something before we move forward.

We won't be able to reproduce the LED exactly like they come from the factory.
Our option will be for the owner to transfer their LEDs or go with some different LEDs that will require a slightly different housing configuration.

Since we don't have access to a 2014 corvette and the dealership won't let us take one appart
Can someone please remove both side markers and take a picture of what is behind the marker.

We need to make sure there is plenty of clearance for our modified LED socket since it will be a bit bigger then the OEM.
I attached some pictures to help explain what we are doing

I would also like to get some feedback on what you guys think about the modified LED socket vs transferring your oem.

Having been a Porsche owner for many years.........this is one of the first mods that Porsche owners do to their cars. I think that these would sell like hot cakes if someone could come up with a simple "snap and replace" type option......

You guys should make sidemarkers like AAC and ShowStoppers do for the Camaro and are developing for the Stingray. Competition makes for better products and lower prices.

We usually stay away from products that already produce. Most of the other companies use injection molding which results in lower prices for them. Since we only do small runs, its more expensive but we can also go to market much faster then they can.

So if you guys ever need some lenses for other year corvettes that are not currently produced, just let us know and we can work with you.

For the c7, we now have both the front and rear markers available for sale.

we are also in the process of having a complete unit ready with LEDs (plug and play), coming soon!
