I would take the bumper off and wrap it or take off the diffuser and wrap. Welcome

You said you're thinking about painting the lower part of your bumper but, not the diffuser--can you elaborate better or even highlight the area you're talking about in a picture?

You should cut those pictures down into more even sizes so they don't post sideways. Less length.

if you're talking the unpainted piece at bottom of rear bumper, it's painted on the Z28.

It's really lame it's not painted from factory... that was the only thing I disliked on that body style.

That's your diffuser, bud. I almost had mine wrapped when I wrapped my roof but, I decided not to. If you're going to have it painted, the shop will have to smooth it down before painting--that might add to the cost.

I'd suspect it would cost around $150-200 to paint that gloss black. Around $100 to wrap it gloss black.

LOL, make sure you know the name for each part of your car.
You first said, "I been thinking about painting that lower part of the Rear bumper(not the diffuser)"

But based on what you said later, the black plastic part of the rear bumper, that's actually the diffuser.

If you are interested in seeing how it looks, just google a silver Z28, that should give you a great idea although they are not the same diffuser.

IMO I won't bother painting it, you are looking at probably 250-400 to smooth it down and get rid of the textured to prime and paint. Spend the money on somewhere else, probably like a spoiler, exhaust, intake, catch can, splitter/side skirts, or quad tips diffuser that looks way better on the 14-15 body style (on the 10-13 the single tips looks great, but not on the 14-15) etc.

You can use Plastidip, for around $15.

It can't be wrapped with normal film as it is textured plastic. I know Avery makes a high tac film now that will work but it will be a royal pain to get back off. The texture of the plastic will also still show through. Or you can sand it first. But if you do that you might as well primer it too so you can use standard wrap film which will be easier to remove (wrap films only last 3 to 8 years or so depending on the type and brand).
