On the audio system for 2SS it says "Apple CarPlay capability for compatible phone". It's supposed to have Android Auto too right?

Looking forward to the weight and of course pricing.

Android auto for the 8" screens is supposed to go live sometime later on in 2016, probably a software updated will be needed. I am looking forward to that!

GM including so much in the base trim for 2SS is making me think it is going to be a LOT more than Gen 5 2SS, maybe even starting $43k or $44k MSRP.

OK...so it appears that the 9-speaker Bose audio system is just plain NOT available at all on the 1SS. That sucks. Why offer it on the 1LT but not the 1SS? I'm fairly certain on the 5th gen it was the same with the Connectivity and Convenience package b/c I got it on my 2010 1LT, but I thought I heard it wasn't available on the 1SS.

Also, anyone know anything about the interior trim color kits?? I'm assuming they would replace the standard silver trim on the doors, but I'm not sure about that. I'm wondering if they aren't small inserts that go where the lighting would go if you had a 2SS, inside of the silver trim. If they replace the entire silver trim, I'd rather just keep the silver.

You could be right...a few have used the word "bargain" for the 2SS, but I'd say its not a bargain of the 1SS starts at 35K, but the 2SS starts at 40K+

KMP and others....don't stress about one or two items, HUD or whatever, not being on the one SS....give it a little while and they will be available as a separate install, aftermarket, etc....Just look at all the things Ofer at Gen5DIY has done....Any of your favorite goodies can go into a 1SS....just be patient...

Suspension packages shown so far, FE2, FE3, with FE3 standard on the SS. So, I assume FE3 is with the magnetorheological damper, standard on all SS models?

Your right....I just reread the below on GM Authority. I hope you are right about it being a software update because I was counting on that for Nav. If it's built into the hardware and not available until the '17 model that would suck.

Oh I'm certainly not stressing...sorry If my post sounds like I was freaking out about not getting Bose Stereo. (I was a bit upset when I thought the 1SS couldn't get the drivers configurable screen, but now that has been put to bed lol).

I was just hoping to get a good stereo stock, and forget it. With the standard stereo I'll have to add an amp and sub for sure.

MRC is available, but not standard on the 1SS and 2SS.

Yep, F55 is an option on both 1SS and 2SS. All GM statements including the Playbook have said it would be an option not standard.
