Exclamation NEED HELP! Jumpy/buck sporadic issue

*Need help* I’ve dug and searched through camaro5 and other forums and haven’t found someone with the same issue I’m having. It’s always done this since I’ve bought the car, but the car sits in the garage majority of the time.

2014 SS, d1sc procharger, cam, meth, etc.

Jumping straight to it, the car drives perfectly fine, i can drive 100 miles and it not act up, but if i come to traffic or say drive in a lower gear around town or something, 1-3 it’ll trigger it basically within a minute. Holding a steady throttle, it basically acts as if it hits a dead spot, the car will just stop throttle and fall on its face for a split second, after it does that, every gear, no matter low gear or highway, every gear bucks hard, No CEL or anything. If it triggers it, and say I’m riding in 3rd gear, it’ll start bucking and lunging, and i can manually spray my meth injection, and it’ll clear it up instantly for about 10-15 seconds and it’ll go right back to doing it for as long as the car is still running. I can cut the car off and let it sit for a little and start it up and it’s perfectly fine. No more acting up, It only does it if It has a little bit of rpm held for awhile like driving around town. Once it starts to do it, the only way for it to stop is cut the car off for a little. When it is doing it’s “thing” the car sounds totally different at idle as well. Also it seems like the first maybe 10% of throttle is dead. Just doesn’t make any sense how it’s just triggered out of nowhere. I can drive from VA to FL on interstate and be perfectly fine, as soon as you come off the ramp and get in traffic, it’ll do it’s thing Smh

Mine does the same thing. More noticeably when the air conditioning is turn on low-high. I usually have to throw the car in neutral to come to a stop without the car trying to run into the back of someone. Im not f/I only N/A build but I think it's just a simple adjustment of air to fuel in the tune.

Just doesn’t make any sense, hardly use the AC, nothing is drawing power or anything, it just only happens if I’m riding like 20-40mph and like 25-3k rpm or something. Just holding it steady seems to trigger it and it runs like crap until you cut it off and let it sit for a few. Then it’s perfectly fine until you do it again

Have you tried putting the car in neutral when you come to a stop or anything other than turning the car off? Have you tried getting the tune looked at?

Actually making a few changes and going in for a retune on the 26th. Was hoping if somebody had a suggestion bedsides in the tune was gonna try to take care of it before hand but it may be in there. And yeah it will only stop doing it if you cut it off. It’ll idle funky, run funky, it won’t run right until it’s cut off for a bit

Gotcha. Im not a master mechanic and definitely not a tuning specialist, but from every car guru I've talked to about it have all said to have the tuner check the air to fuel ratio in the tune before doing anything else. Hopefully your problem is this simple too

Thanks man. Hopefully it’ll work itself out with the retune
