Dude that looked wicked fast.

Looking good man. Love the fast courses. Have you tried using 1st gear more? Maybe that will help with the BMW's?

Won PAX at Reno, 5th RAW. Picked up 1.1 sec between runs 2 and 3 by leaving it in 1st gear. I was on the limiter twice on the fast bits, but the car was so much better getting out of the slow corners. 5,000' elevation changes things. Also figured out I could run a bit lower pressure in the rears and ended up at 32F/28R on the last run. Car had so much traction on the last run!

That ran through my head after day one... and honestly no. I just don't think it would put the power down to make it worth it.

Maybe if it were an A10 it would pull out better(thats that she said) but I cant own an A10... lol

I've been experimenting with it on slow corners after watching your vid and I do think it can be faster if there's a straight right after.

I also feel the autox diff tune allows you to put more power down and I can go full throttle out of slow corners in 1st as long as the wheel's straight. And that's with OEM SC3s still! C'mon APEX! I'm feeling the SC3s weakness, besides never warming up, is throttle + steering inputs.

Too many spots on that course over 53 mph anyways. Too many shifts. A10 might be the answer. I do PCA events and am jealous of the PDK guys.

I'm really starting to check my Solostorm data to look for 1st gear opportunities. Basically I am looking for parts of the track where I am consistently under 53 mph. Or like that video you referenced, spots with a really slow hairpin and a long straight afterwards. The increased acceleration in 1st is so big that even my wife was looking over my shoulder and noticed it on the graphs.

Car felt amazing today. Sadly In The afternoon it was just too hot to get any faster but we stayed consistent.

I have the next NMCA event this weekend out here in kali. I am going to see if I can’t use 1st a bit more. Usually just a road course setup but we have tight areas to. Will see out it go’s. At least new re71s will help vs the old 112 lap tires in 102 degree heat🥵

One is the new falcon 660. Seems to be on par with re71s, or a tiny bit better.
