Rev Issue

I posted this in tuning diagnostics and haven't gotten any replies. Was hoping I might get more eyes here. (please remove it not allowed)

A few weekends ago I put on headers/ ported TB and IM as well as a rotofab CAI. I am running catless to cutouts. I haven't been able to drive much but today I noticed that if I rev a little bit sometimes its sticks around 2k rpm or climbs a little higher.

I didnt notice it before I got my base tune from PRAY but I also didn't drive it much before I got the tune.

Here is a video of the issue. Not sure where to start looking first. Could it be a leak somewhere? I dont here anything that indicates it. In the video you will see a quick rev that acts fine and then one that holds and even climbs a little. The second rev was less aggressive than the first and my foot was off the throttle immediately.

Any ideas are welcome.

Not quite sure on that. If it was a MAP car I'd say that you likely have a vacuum leak.

If you did the install of the parts yourself, I'd suggest going back over them and making sure everything is seated properly, physical parts and electrical connections.

Well it was definitely a leak. It's weird it didn't do it all the time but yea. It was leaking where the TB and IM meet. With PRAY's port there's such a small tolerance for alignment. He really takes them to the max.

Had a similar problem, not with revving but a different issue. I’d go over every bolts and make sure they’re torqued correctly along will the sensors. Even make sure the CAI is flush and tight throughout the tubing and the TB.
