My drag pack is going to save us 100 lbs. Run 3/8 tank of E, I'll need to get into the low 1.50's on 60ft or even upper 1.40's and hopefully 139 mph will put us right on the edge of wetness.
What about race fuel and 3 more psi...should be at 800whp. I want to make it easy for you. Then we will get my rear 20in dr's and I will run it to see if I can catch my old PB from the C5 days.

The easiest way to shed 100lbs was to get a sub driver. I will definitely be running it too...but for me, I want to beat my personal best from my old car. 10.2...I think I can get it.

Edge of "wetness"...do you mean greatness?

It appears that we're both chading the same personal best! Mine was achieved in the mid '80's on a 1260cc Suzuki gs1100

Mine was in a C5 Corvette. I went similarly crazy with mods in '02. I also had two other Corvettes and had sworn off the crazy mod bug...but it's back.

One thing for sure...in my Vette, I went so far as to make it not fun to drive. It shifted too hard. The forged motor was prone to get too hot. The car was obnoxiously loud. . .This time I am probably close to my loudness limit, but overall, i have made much better choices and it puts a smile on my face every time. I am currently looking for the right rear drag setup so that I can get to the track on some test-n-tune days.

Let me start by saying Ted Jannetty has been incredible. Every time I sent a log file, he had updated tunes turned around ASAP. I was a little scared about remote tuning because I had a previous experience with another tuner and it was a complete nightmare. With Ted...It could not have gone any smoother!

Ran by the dyno so we could get a good pull. There is probably more in it because right as the car is building max power, it looks like the converter locks or something and timing gets pulled. You can see the dip on the dyno below.

Updated Changes to the vert

We started with 8psi for 700whp with the 85mm pulley.

We changed to the 80mm pulley and saw 10psi, but did not go to the dyno (logged on the street)

We then swapped with the 75mm pulley for 12psi.

Where I live the e85 pump is really e70 so testing from 8-12psi has all been at that level.

Next step is to get to the track and get some runs to get everything finalized, but I think based on what we are seeing, we could be the first vert to run in the 9's.
I know this is an old thread but I never seen it until now and I want you to know I appreciate this post and your continued business.

Thank you

Ted.
