The hood inserts were one of the first things I did. On the NFG or black, they tend to disappear. Color matched to the wheels, now they pop nicely.

Thanks!

I washed and dried, then washed the areas of application with dish soap, good rinse and thoroughly dry. I sprayed about 5-6 coats lightly and pulled everything off carefully while it was wet....first tape I pulled was where the wrap was in direct contact with the tape. I used a razor for cutting the tape and paper to make it easier to pull in certain areas.

I was afraid if I let it dry, I would pull the dried wrap with the tape. The stuff sprays real easy. Shake the can continuously while applying. The actual spraying was very easy.

Hold the can upside down and spray when you are done to clear the nozzle.

The whole process took about 2.5 hours.

I'm pretty happy with it...looks professional...we'll see how it holds up.

Super cool. It looks very good well done.
The spray holds quite good. I did long time ago some rims with it.

Always pull the tape when the last coat is still wet.... works perfect every time.

Have you ever used Plastidip before? Just curious if you can compare that product to this one from Dupli-Color. I honestly am not impressed with the Plastidip. No matter what I do it always comes out kind of rough. I've gotten better but it's never great results.

I've never used plasti-dip but have seen it and felt it....never wanted to put it on my car.

This wrap feels like wrap and not that plasti-dip, pliable, rubbery texture feel. The wrap spray lays down real easy and has texture when it dries. It is smooth but not as smooth as the paint. I have rattle can'd lots of stuff over the years and was really surprised at how easily this stuff sprayed and applied.

On the bottle it states the more coats you lay down and the thicker it is, the easier it will come off. I did not want a pliable coat that might peel, so I laid it on with light coats....you can see where I pulled the tape that it is not that thick against the paint....that's how I wanted it.

Thanks for the feedback. I have some interior parts to paint and am going to give this a try.

Tried matching the silver color on the interior door trim. Pretty darn close. And this stuff sprays better than Plasti-Dip, IMO.
