Anyone try the performance update for Elsd software? And what did you pay? My dealer wanted $350 plus $150 labor..

It should be $350 without a labor charge. It even says that in the “install instructions” they either didn’t read it or are trying to screw you out of money.

That is what i have heard but it is being advertised as better turn in for track and autocross.. have you tried it?

I’ve been told eLSD engages faster out of a corner. Pretty sure if it were a free update everyone would do it

The ONE a person who chimed in on my post that actually did it says you won’t notice a difference on the street... i might do it just to see. Probably a waste of $350 bucks

The road course guys also say they didn’t notice anything so the assumption is that a pro driver dropped lap time after learning the new eLSD. Again not something most will notice

From what i understand it only works when all nannies are off... I don't care about street .. asking if anyone has used it on a roadcourse??? and if so does it work?

Didn’t ask if you cared about the street as I drive with nannies off all the time. Trying to save you the bullshit you’re getting. You aren’t going to noticed a damn thing unless your timing your road course laps and you better be one hell of a driver pushing limits but good luck getting the validity you’re searching for

You are the reason why people stop responding when the questions have already been asked. You are also the reason people say use the search function.

I gave you info based on prior road course peoples answer to your question AND added the street comment to anyone else looking because it’s something that comes up so was trying to be helpful...

I have it on my 1LE.


I installed in December and have run a couple of track events and 6 AutoX events.


1 - No difference on street


2 - No difference on Track


3 - marked difference in AutoX as long as you 'turn it on'. On the Kart track at Daytona, (I use this because it doesn't change from event to event), it's much quicker to let you have 'all the power'. It does not pull power on corner exit like PTM used to.


I have a regular co-driver and he noticed the difference in the 1st event.
