[QUOTE=mrtoner;9999102]Didn't like the poor excuse for a cargo net that came with the car.
I bought one from an online auction for $8; it measures 36 x 12, a 34 x 10 would be better. It didn't come with mounting hooks so I designed and 3D printed my own in black ABS. I also found the mounting hooks on the same auction site. The top of the net mounts where the two plastic pins are in the trunk liners. The bottom hooks I mounted in the floor lid just forward of the two cutouts for lifting up the lid. I'm satisfied! Yea, I really want something like this, but I can't print my own hooks. Kudos to you for doing this. The net I got off amazon was a good size, just no hooks (but the description said came with universal hooks). I sent it back. I had one in my G35 couple and it was so useful, I still want to get something similar. |

I ordered a 5th gen net. I’ll figure out the hooks when I get the net.
Thanks! |

My beater Saturn Vue SUV has this cargo flip up compartment which i discovered a few months of owning it. I wish they would have incorporated this into more cars like the Camaro would have been a great idea. Every time i installed a net in the past the shit would fly from side to side so its a no go for me.
