Fixed my rattle.

Ever since I picked up my car, it's had an annoying little metallic rattle somewhere near or below the passenger footwell. My dealer did the fuel tube bulletin, but no luck. They next wanted to tear into the dash, but I really didn't want that, so I declined. I thought it was under the car (maybe heat shield or something, so after fabricating a pinch weld jack pad, I jacked it up and looked around. I almost immediately found that tapping on the side x side aluminum tubes coming from the rear produced the sound I was looking for. I could not determine exactly what they were tapping against. They run up under the right side of the motor, under and behind the alternator. So, I zip tied the offending tube so it stayed over a little bit, and the rattle seems to be gone. Thought I would share in case someone else has the same issue.

P.S. the rattle only occurred when the motor was lugging.

Yes. I drove around at speeds that caused the rattle before, and it's all quiet.

My bad, I missed the "zip tied" comment and was scratching my head on how you fixed it by looking...
