i used to have cherry bomb glasspacks on my V6 they are made of really terrible material and rust wicked bad. I know i live in the northeast and my car was a daily driver but 1 year and they looked worse then when i sold my 95 escort with 328k on it. You want something loud and throaty go with Ark N-2 or DT-S they're not very common and sound beastly on a V6 i can only imagine what it'll sound like on a V8.

When I bought my car there were some Cherry bomb mufflers welded in place of the factory mufflers. The car was LOUD and sounded real good, but the car was not only loud outside but inside as well. Those things droned so bad that on a long trip I wanted to wear and probably should have worn ear plugs.

I now have Solo's Mach XL catback exhaust and I LOVE it!! I have only found one other car with Solo anything and ironically enough they installed their axle back a couple weeks before I installed my catback. The sound is great, the cost is one of the best out there, and best of all ZERO drone! It has a nice very low volume rumble under normal driving conditions, but when you hit the go pedal it really wakes up! I'd buy another one if I had another car needing exhaust.

Just a FYI, if you do decide to go Solo. The first time I fired mine up I thought, "this isn't as loud as I was expecting". The more I drive it the louder it gets. Still zero drone, but I absolutely love my remote start because standing behind the car it is mean and of course when you get on it the car screams! Can't really explain why it gets louder once it is broken in, but I'm not complaining.

Cherry Bombs lasted about a year on my 11RS. They rust faster than the speed of light.

I agree, louder and louder. I'm told it's the carbon build up. Wouldn't trade my Solo Axle Backs for any other system.
No drone on my L99 and I smile every time I start my Camaro up.
