I just had a bike shipped to me. Shipping company damaged it. Sure it was frustrating at first, but my painter took care of it and you'd never know. I get the frustration, but if it were me, I'd let them fix it and move on. Honestly I don't truly understand the demand for a new bumper. Even if they got you a new bumper it still have to be painted. Let them paint it and move on. Enjoy the car you ordered.

So the dealership is being honest and they contacted you and where up front about the damages? The car will get fixed and look good as a new, some times unfortunately it happens if your still not happy just walk away. The dealership isn't pulling any thing dirty here.

On the Harley forum I'm on, they put the thread creation date right under the thread title next to the user name that created the thread... Really helps skip over these old threads that get brought back to life. Wonder if they can do that on this Forum as well??

By the way, from your pics it looks like they hit something or something hit the car. Not just a scratch.

Just have them repair it or move on.

Not worth all the angst. If you aren't satisfied get whatever deposit you had and move on.

BTW your thread title implied it was your car so I bit and came in. This is one step from "hey I was walking around the dealership and saw a car with a scratch on it. Maybe I'll sue them"
