Had to fix this mess.....

This took time to clean....

Customer asked us to give it a try knowing fully what was needed to make this work. Would we do it again? Yes! If it were easy everyone would have it! Of course there would be revisions made to the next one to make it better. By no means is this a piece of junk.

Wow, I imagine there was quite a bit of time spend cleaning that up! Looks like you guys whacked the back of the top off to get it to clear the cowl? That whole plenum piece looks to be a single extrusion, not multiple pieces of bent up sheet welded together... I could see cutting off the front and rear caps, and running the thing down a table saw on it's sides to easily get in side to clean up, and maybe clean the ports up.

I'd probably have it coated with some type of heat dissipating coating before installing.

I could care less where the material is from or that its origin is in China. But its a Precision Metalcraft knockoff that has enough weld slag to kill a cylinder wall. It shouldn't be up to the consumer to fix that before using a product.

True, but you'll be surprised how many BRAND intakes, tires, wheels, etc.... are made. None the less its too much to try and clean up, I'll pass and go straight to the Holley intake.
