It doesn't make sense to me either except for stock vehicles where more HP more beefed the drivetrain but everyone uses it. Shelby, & the rest. Every magazine. If I was loaded i would remove my engine & put on engine dyno to see what the drivetrain loss is now.

Sorry, the 345 hp was a mistype. So assuming the average LS3 puts down roughly 365 then there was a gain of around 45hp.
Just trying to figure out the current crank power because unfortunetly I wasn't able to get an initial dyno pull before the mods were added.
So is it safe to say 410rwhp/.85 = 482hp?

Yes.. everyone using the 15% drivetrain loss so any car guy wont give you shit. Like the older shelby super snakes were rated 725HP but alot dynoed 615wHP to 635wHP.
Rule of thumb to have room what every engine HP you calculate round it down to the nearest 25 interval. Like my 610wHP works out to 717HP but I always say 700HP. Leaves room on the table.

Same here.

My tune guy that did our Dyno told me it is a 22% loss to the RW because we have the auto trans.

We are at 382 RWHP so I just tell the non-gear heads we have 490 horses...They would not understand if I said we had 382 but they see a commercial saying the stock Camaro has 400.

it's just easier that way.

It all depends on the dyno and temps, A6 or m6 trans? We have seen stock all over the place on this forum, from low 226 in the heat with a auto to 260 with the manual."normal" dynojet" auto 240-250, manual 250-260.
Your intake and axelback good for about 12 combined on the dyno.

can you list the bolt on mods that gave you those numbers, please. thanks.
