Steering wheel replacement cost
I'm looking to replace my ss leather steering wheel with the 1le version. Has anyone gone through the dealer to get it replaced and if so, how much did it cost you?
I would have the dealer install it rather than my self for liability reasons. A local dealer dealer quoted me around 800 for the install alone. Seems absurdly high. Looking forward to your imput. Thanks! |

I ordered one feom that GM parts guy and had dealer install it and shift knob and boot install was around 250$

I was charged 1 hour labour at my dealer to swap in the 1LE steering wheel
Shift boot I did myself. Not even 10 min. $800?? They have to pull the engine or something? Haha To replace all 10 wheel studs which includes taking apart the rear with an alignment was $700 Canadian!
