Current Job
Communications Operator Secured Facilities (NJ Dept. of Corrections) Were generally just called Comm-Ops. I have no idea how to describe what that is. LOL Monitor radio transmissions, control all movement (via gates and intercom/radio transmissions) within the seperate facilities in the prison, log everything that goes on, keep track of the institutional inmate count, create officer/Sgt/Lt schedules, keep track of and log in/out keys and radios, locate inmate mail, sort staff mail into appropriate mailbox, process all outgoing/incoming mail/packages. Among other things. Oh, and yeah, we answer phones too. :o No, I don't have to do ALL that at once. LOL I mostly work the mailroom, but am all over the place within the prison. Dream Job I never really had a dream job. My dream job would be to hit the lottery and never have to work again so I can concentrate on reading the hundreds of books in my personal library, read the thousands of comics I have in my basement, play all the video games I haven't had time to play in the last 10 years. Oh, and drive around in my Camaro. LOL |

I am a Maintenance Electrician/Journeyman working at the General Motors plant in Janesville, WI. I maintain and troubleshoot/repair the robots, building electrical distribution systems, process controls equipment, and just about anything else that has wires going to or coming from it. Dream Job At 18 I joined the Navy to be an electrician and have been working at that since then (39 now). I knew in the 7th grade that this is what I wanted to do so I guess I have my dream job. If I had to pick something else I would choose to make a living of all my hobbies and keep them as hobbies because once you turn a hobby into a job I think that some of the enjoyment dissapears. |

Current: Full time student here. Haven't figured out what I want to major in though...I should probably get on that.
Dream: I've always dreamed of racing cars in one form or another. If I'm not racing, I'd like to be working on/restoring cars.

Currently: Director of Operations for a small E-commerce company, soon to be the C.O.O. with a seat on the Board of Directors.....it's not quite as glamorous as it sounds....remember, I said SMALL company. Dream: Well, I'll probably move up to that COO/Board position, stay there until the company gets sold and then move on. It might give me enough cash to start up the eventual dream job.....I want to start with a small dealership/brokerage that sells classics/musclecars/exotics, then add the service departments....customization/restoration (including body work, suspensions, etc.), wheels/tire (hopefully as a distributor of some kind), performance upgrades, even a detail shop...you know, a full service, one-stop shop kind of thing....biggest problem....I don't have the cash (yet). Next biggest problem, I don't have any of the know how to do any of those things, so I have to hire the right people. I can run it, I just can't really do it. Although, I plan on being a "learning" owner....hire the right people to do the job as well as teach me some of it. Of course, I'll be ready to retire before I learn too much, but still... It may sound cheesy, but since I'm not really into racing of any kind and I don't have those skills, it's the only way I'll get to be around the cars that I love. |
