It really depends on the pulley or boost level

With a blower on pump gas you need a ZL-1 fuel pump and either our FSCM or tuning of yours along with a JMS fuel pump voltage booster for anything more than 6 psi boost.

Add in E85 and you need 30% for fuel supply so larger injectors, ID1050x and the fuel system might not keep up for more than about E40

So when we do Flex fuel conversions on Blown Gen 5 we go with Fore innovations return system, and ID1050x or ID1300x depending on power goal.

If this does not answer your question clearly don't hesitate to call me.

Ted.

Same one I have been using for 40 years proven right every time, the Moroso Power-speed calculator.

Then doing the math for driveline loss.

4000 lb.

Most all On line calculators are Crank HP which you shown above are the same values I came up with.

Multiply by either .85 for Manual cars .80 for Auto cars to convert to RWHP.

Bottom line car is not showing anywhere near Dyno numbers on the track.

Again I would like to reinforce it is easy to produce a Glory number on the dyno, but not so easy to produce a real number that is repeatable on the track.

Everything I do on my dyno goes to the track and backs up the numbers with in 2% or less.

Not all online calculators use crank HP.

No but you didn’t say that some use crank HP.

Not argue just stating that there are other variables that come into play that can affect 1/4 mile times. Would you agree with that?

That is a different subject.

I clearly stated that MOST ALL online calculators I have seen are Crank HP.

You came back with NOT ALL.

I never said ALL.

Now on to your new question.

ET is a wild variable heavily effected by Driver and chassis set up.

MPH is consistent regardless of ET, providing shift points are correctly selected.

MPH over 1/4 mile is the best Dyno.

These calculators are accurate, it is simple MATH that can not be disputed.

X force accelerates X Mass at X Rate over X distance taking in to account an average frontal area.

Ted.

Ted.

So a car that ran xx 1/4 mile at yy speed at end of track using that calculator you can determine the crank/rear wheel horsepower ?

Absolutely, like I said the Track is the best dyno.
