Update: Email from dealer this am. Says Allocation for our order will be assigned on this coming Monday and we should expect 2200 status by next Thursday.

He also said there are NO constraints on our order. Our order includes the Z51 package. Does anyone know if the constraint on the Z51 package has been lifted?

We are trying not to get excited about this news since so many that post on this site have been let down by dealers before.

But we will keep you updated.

I guess the name of the game is having an allocation in hand at the time of the order. But, it seems to me that a lot of dealers nationwide imply to the prospective buyer that they either have an allocation or are soon to have one meaning a few days, yet those allocations seem to never appear and the customer who ordered based on that "understanding" from the dealer is left in limbo for months.

At the least such behavior is a breach of trust.
