Got the FPCM from jannetty installed today. Its in the pass side rear side wall. You have to remove the rear seats to get the plastic off to access this guy. Fairly easy

Use a drill bit stop and left roughly an 1/8th inch of bit showing. Just enough to punch through. Used electric metal sheers from harbor freight and it worked great

And new pump installed along with the fuel pump ring removal tool. Listen, I know you can use a punch or chisel and a hammer. Have done it myself in the past. My ring was completely and utterly stuck. This tool was like $25 on amazon and made the job extremely easy. 2' long breaker bar and it was a breeze

Looking good gunchamp! I swapped my fuel pump out a few weeks back and bought that tool prior to doing the swap. I was really surprised at how tight that ring was and sure glad I had the tool!

Same, glad I jumped on the tool. Would have been a pain in the rear with how tight the ring was. Also, to anyone wondering, I had a 1/4 tank of fuel and that was just about too much. The fuel was almost level with the opening when I removed the pump assembly.

I never realized the GPI top end was LS7 style. That's gonna make some good power.

FYI, when I ran the V3si head unit, I used a 95mm pulley and it made 10.5psi on my combo. stock heads, 2inch headers and 226/236 525/525 110.

I'm guessing here, but with your ls7 style top end and that 105mm pulley, you probably wont see 10psi.

Do you have any other pulleys available?

Yes, LS7 style. The kit came with as 110mm pulley and I ordered a 105 which is what I installed. I was told that would be roughly 10psi, but now with your info I'm doubting that. I may have to order another pulley. Thoughts?

I would give ESS a call or email, tell them you wanted 10psi. They're pretty cool, might ship you out the right pulley. I'd go 95mm.

AJ mentioned he was working on a larger lower pulley. If that is ready, it would be a great option. The bigger the pulleys, the more belt wrap.

So i'm sitting at 11:1 compression. 10psi seems like a good settling point. The guys at Jannetty seemed to think the 105 would get me there, but I may give ess a call and see what they think.
