Hello everyone,

I'm wanting to place an order for a 2021/2022 LT1 soon and want to gather some info first. Last I knew the factory was closed and there was nothing for inventory for several months. I'm wanting to know if the factory has reopened at this time and if production is back to full force. If so, how long do you think a custom order would take with today's market/chip shortage/other current events? Don't want anything too custom, but haven't been able to find exactly what I want at a dealership closer than 1500 miles.

I'm also debating what color to go with. I'm torn between shock, summit white and the new orange coming out for 2022. If your LT1 are any of these colors, I'd love to see some pics

Dealers are accepting orders for 22. Your order will be placed when your dealer receives an allocation for a Camaro. At this point if you ordered now you will probably take delivery of the car some time between Mid November thru the end of the year. This is if there are no set backs with plant closures, etc. Also, shock is not available for 22!

The plant is running and as of the last message from GM would start producing 22s Aug 17th. Also selecting the orange would most likely delay your car an extra 4-8 weeks so would the new rapid blue color
