Dimmer knob not dimming

Anyone have any problem with the dimmer knob to the left of the dash not working? Mine will turn on the overhead lights, but has no effect on the instrument panel or radio backlighting.

The dimmer only works in night/dark mode, not when the daylight sensor commands day/sunny mode. It will still activate the overhead console lamps, but dimming only works when it's dark. Try it and see, it may not actually be broken.

You’re absolutely correct. I expected it to work like my other car. I would have liked for it to dim the dash backlight some during the day. I had a coworker check his Chevy truck this afternoon and it worked as you said. This is the first car I’ve had with automatic lights and I should have noticed my 2022 operates the same way.
