Thanks for all the replies as well, I'm going to insist I get my money or my order number.
Get your money back and reach out to Jason Holley at Selman in OC.

He will be straight and let you know if and when they should have allocation but it will be a sticker. No one in this market wants to accept Costco Pricing when the demand is so high.

Thanks for all the feedback and helpful suggestions.

The dealership in question is Haselwood in Bremerton, WA

I suspected it was around msrp/costco pricing and why was getting the running around, doesn't make a lot of sense otherwise.

Welcome to the party. The search for one of these really sucks. With the rate of constraints on these we’ll be lucky to see 150 or so built. They seem to average 0-3 a week. From what I can tell no dealer is just going to be sitting on an allocation. It seems your best bet is to place multiple orders at multiple dealerships who you “think” may get an allocation for your order in the future. Regardless your dealership should have given you an order number on the workbench when you placed the deposit. It would be at 1100 until “if” they get an allocation but their chance of getting one without an order is pretty much zero.

I received order number and workbench sheet 5 weeks ago without deposit. Said he would call if they matched to an allocation. Haven’t heard a peep, since. It is very frustrating. Now I’m getting spammed due to all the calls I placed on cars that were advertised as being for sale when most were sold orders. Others on lots listed as “call for price” to hide $7-15k ADMs. I’m sort of done with the whole process. GM sucks. It’s hard to understand why they refuse to communicate with customers and dealers.

To answer your question when they submit the order it move to 1100. At this point the can supply you with an Order Number. They don't need an allocation to give you a number. Once GM accepts the order it will move to 2000
